CALL FOR A NATIONAL UBUNTU (Oneness) DAY
An idea whose time has come!
“What if?” “What if all the people of South-Africa adopted the idea of Ubuntu?” When everyone dares to say: “Ubuntu, I am because we are. We are all one,” how easy will it still be to harm another person, one-self, an animal, and nature? What if we found more and more ways to make this idea workable? What if the ultimate answer is always for the greater good of all?
Humanity’s Team SA together with other supporters are calling on the South-African Government to declare a National Ubuntu Day. We feel that this day has been coming a long time and we are excited about how it will make a massive difference in how we view and treat one another in all spheres of life, and in creating a real ‘New South-Africa’ and a ‘Rainbow Nation.’
Humanity’s Team absolutely values your Ubuntu contribution to society and we are asking for your support of this Civil Society call to action. We have very strong support from Civil Society leaders and members of parliament from both the opposition as well as the ruling party to make this a reality. We have good connections and as it is possible for our request to go to parliament in July, we will have to perform magic to gather as much support as possible before then!
The following documents support the initiative:

Please feel free to be in contact with us if you have any suggestions or questions.
Our proposed date: 22 September being Spring Equinox.
LET’S TAKE UBUNTU TO THE GLOBAL STAGE!
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS ALSO A STEP TOWARDS GETTING THE UNITED NATIONS TO DECLARE A GLOBAL ONENESS DAY. IT IS OUR DREAM THAT SOUTH-AFRICA WILL BE THE FIRST TO DECLARE A LOCAL ONENESS (UBUNTU) DAY AND TO OFFICLIALY SUPPORT THE GLOBAL CALL.
